Candi Cane is one of the first 3 females we purchased in 2016 to begin our breeding program. She has been a great breeding female and has produced 5 top-notch offspring for us (see pictures). Unfortunately, the birthing process of her 2022 cria (Piper) was extremely difficult and the cria had to be pulled out of the birth canal. Both Candi Cane and the cria (Piper) are doing well now, however, since then we have bred Candi Cane multiple times to 3 different studs with no success getting her pregnant. She may have some damage to her cervix that is not allowing her to get pregnant. We don’t have any expert llama veterinarians nearby, so we have decided to sell her. Someone with an expert vet close by might be able to do some tests and figure out how to get her pregnant again.
She has never packed, but she could potentially be a good packer for the next few years as well. If you have any questions, please contact us!
