We’ve decided to cut back and sale some females including Rose and her female cria named Mia. We have owned Rose since 2018 and she has produced 4 really nice offspring so far. She is average sized, but all of her crias have been bigger than her. All of her crias have had very short wool too. Rose has a 1.5 year old female cria (Tia) and she is already 47″, so Rose does have the genetics to produce good sized llamas. Rose is an easy keeper and has been very healthy for us. She has been rebred to our 50″ stud Tosten. Not sure if she is pregnant or not, but we will continue to check her while we have her. (see gallery for pictures of her past crias)
Mia is an awesome looking girl with short wool. She does have one blue eye, but seems to have normal vision. Her sire, Ragnar, is a big boy at 48″ tall. Ragnar has produced some big crias and Mia looks to be very tall and lean.
Let me know if you have any questions or would like more photos/videos of Rose and Mia.
